“I took a friend, my son and his partner to High Tea at the Leaves and Fishes and I just felt compelled to tell you that it was absolutely beautiful. We had the champagne afternoon tea, the atmosphere was lovely, the food was AMAZINGLY good and the quality was lovely. The pastries were perfect, the selection, the amount, not one thing could be found that was not lovely, the scones and jam were out of this world, my son’s partner is still talking about them! I think you have a wonderful idea for a lazy Sunday afternoon, we really enjoyed it and cannot wait to come back. It was very good. I have been to the Ritz in London, for their High Tea in the Palm Court and I think your food was much fresher and much nicer. I also have had afternoon tea at the Victoria Room, the Sheraton on the Park in Sydney, the Park Hyatt and the Observatory and there is always something you find that you do not like or the food quality is not quite up there, you have obviously researched your food, the food was fabulous, the tea and coffee just right, the staff were amazingly professional and friendly, very attentive. I personally think you have “got it right”.
WELL DONE! I love your restaurant and now I will be torn between the high tea and the lunch……..but there are plenty of weekends in a year! Thank you for a lovely afternoon.”
